The fire pit is further protected by its durable stainless steel construction of 11-gauge marine-grade 316 stainless steel, and optional glass wind deflector that protects the flame from wind. The built-in sensor continuously monitors the flame and shuts off the gas if high wind or rain extinguishes the fire.
