Description

The splash-proof remote module is supplied with an internal ambient sensor and an external solution sensor with a ten-foot cable. External sensor and cable perform accurately even when both are submerged. The main unit can receive data from up to three remote modules at once. Data is transmitted every 30 seconds. The display s trend indicator shows whether temperature is rising or falling. The minimum and maximum memory feature allows monitoring over short or long periods such as a night or a weekend. An alarm may be set in 1 degree increments to alert users if temperature rises or falls below the two set points. Jumbo digit (1-1/8″) display may be read up to 25 feet away. To use, put the main unit at the desk or bench and place the remote module in the fume hood, refrigerator, incubators, storage facilities or even outdoors. The remote sensor transmits the temperature via a radio signal at a frequency of 433 MHz. Remote module range is 65 to 100 feet, depending on the location and wall material. Additional modules may be monitored by pushing the channel button on the main unit. Cases are high-impact, chemical-resistant ABS plastic.
