Monitor the temperature and humidity of any environment with an Internet connection using the Temperature Alert WiFi Temperature and humidity Monitor with Email Alerts. No computer is required! This device connects to your network via 802.11b/g wireless (or wired ethernet) to automatically email you when the surrounding temperature falls outside your set range. You can customize the alert to be sent continuously or just once. Temperature Alert also lets you know if the temperature returns to your acceptable range. You can even set up optional emails with current temperature readings inside your acceptable range. Temperature Alert comes with a 6-foot External Temperature/humidity probe to monitor ambient temperature and humidity. The sensor connects to the monitor via one of the four RJ-12 jacks on the unit. Up to three optional sensors (sold separately) can be plugged into the extra jacks. Accurate to within half a degree C, the included sensor can report temperatures from -55 to 125 degrees C (-67 to 257 degrees F). Temperature Alert requires little to no technical knowledge to use. However, because the unit operates on Linux, you can develop your own code to customize the device. You also have the option to sign up for Sensor Cloud, a subscription web-based interface where you can set and modify alarm limits, send multiple email/text/phone call alerts, set multiple alarm levels for escalation, store and retrieve data for up to one year, and download free smartphone apps.
