Description

Made in the USA The Larson Electronics SPLED-PNL-2X18AH-120V.60HZ Solar Panel is an innovative power solution for lights cameras and other remote electrical equipment and is suited for various applications where solar power is desired. This solar panel comes equipped with 10 feet of 16/2 SOOW cable. Supported by two 18aH batteries the unit features a 120V inverter for operating 120V equipment. This solar panel can power a variety of remote electrical equipment including lights beacons and cameras. The 30-watt solar panel recharges the two 18aH batteries in 5 hours with direct sunlight. A 120V inverter manages DC to AC conversion for 120V equipment. As with all solar powered equipment charging time is affected by the amount of available ambient light. When ambient light levels drop below a certain level such as on very cloudy days the unit will not recharge. The solar panel is weatherproof and designed to catch the maximum amount of sunlight possible when properly mounted. This solar panel is configured to operate non-stop 24/7 day/night with photocell motion sensor for security purposes on/off switch for manual operation or flying leads for operators to connect to user provided external switches. The day/night and motion sensor is programmed to active the solar panel in the evening and to shut it off during the day activating the LED light when ambient lighting falls below 1 lux. The motion sensor will activate the panel upon detecting movement within range of the panel. The sealed lead acid battery pack is contained within the solar panel not the connected equipment. The mounting apparatus is designed to allow a variety of mounting options including flat surfaces such as a wall and square or round pole mounting. The equipment is connected to the panel by a 10 foot 16/2 SOOW cord that provides flexibility for positioning of the solar panel and equipment into their respective optimum locations independently of each other.
