Description

The SaltDogg TGS03 tailgate spreader is ideal for 1/2-ton and 3/4-ton trucks for light and medium residential and commercial applications. Combines the robustness of an auger-driven V-Box spreader with the simplicity and easy mounting of a tailgate spreader. The open-auger design gives the option to spread a variety of materials typically limited to V-Box spreaders. Carry up to 600 lbs. of either bagged salt and/or sand in the durable polymer hopper which can spread material up to 30 feet using the the auger feed mechanism with a stainless steel trough. With our patent pending design, the spreader mounts easily to a 2″ receiver hitch with horizontal and vertical adjustment so no drilling is required in the bed rail. Equipped with a 12V DC Dual Shaft Gear Motor to give you more than enough power to get the job done. The spreader is pre-wired for operational vibrator kit to use with sand/salt mix (vibrator kit #3020340 sold separately).
