OutBack Power MATE Digital Display and System Control. The MATE display and controller are management tools for your OutBack Power system. The MATE can help you remotely manage and monitor multiple inverter/chargers, Outback charges controllers and any future OutBack Power conversion and control products. It is packed full of features to make system management simple. Specifications: Surface mount with RS232 Interface Display: 3.1″ (8 cm) backlit LCD – four line, 80 alpha numeric characters Control Keypad: 6 backlit silicone keys – dedicated inverter and AC input keys Status Indicators: Two LED Status Indicators – AC input (yellow), inverting (green) Maximum Cable Length: 1000′ (300 m) Environmental Rating: Indoor Type 1. Features: Connect to multiple Outback inverter/charges, Outback MPPT PV charge controllers and any other OutBack power conversion and control products offered in the future when used with the HUB4 or HUB10 (Outback HUB sold separately). Maximum of ten OutBack products will be able to be connected to a single MATE via CAT 5 / ethernet type cabling with 8 wire RJ45 modular connectors by the MATE using an OutBack HUB (HUB sold separately) communication manager. Includes a 4 line backlit LCD display with 80 alphanumeric characters Includes a built-in real-time clock and calendar which allows programming of the inverter operation based on the time of day and even day of the week.
