This Orbit irrigation sediment filter helps to keep your sprinkler system parts free of debris and other corrosive elements that can damage sprinkler systems. It is used on the main sprinkler line before dirty water reaches the sprinkler valves and other downline irrigation parts. 1 1/2 inches is the measurement of where the sprinkler main line goes in and out. The measurement of the clear canister (filter housing) diameter is approximately 2 1/2 inches. The diameter of the filter fitting is approximately 1 1/2 inches. Works with all lawn irrigation systems and sprinkler systems including, Toro, and Orbit.
