W2ENY Solar Panel Charger for Ring Camera and Remote Operation Plugs directly into the rear USB mini jack on your camera, cable is about 34 inches long. Panel is outdoor rated with complete weatherproofing of the cable to the panel. I’ve been using these on my sailboat where there’s no AC to plug in a charger. We do recommend putting a dab of silicon on the USB connector on the back of your Ring camera for outdoor additional connector protection. Pics showing a short cable were for my sailboat, this has the longer cable as noted above. This is a slow charger to keep the internal batteries charged, this is NOT a fast charger that could damage your camera. If your battery is very low, the camera will draw more to run than to charge. This listing is only for the solar panel as pictured, ring camera shown is for illustration only and not included. Panel can be mounted with tie wraps (as shown on my boat), double stick tape or similar that you would supply for your mounting situation. “Cut the Cord” is a reference about no more AC power connection and extension cords.
