Kaput Mole Gel Bait is formulated with warfarin- a highly effective anticoagulant with very low environmental and secondary toxicity. Because warfarin is effective against rodents at low concentrations, it is one of the active ingredients in rodenticides.

The bait may be injected directly into the tunnels, and once the gel has been placed, the moles cannot eject it from the burrow (which may happen with work-like baits).
