For this reason, Trident’s polytape is offered in white to help increase visibility for horses and other fast moving livestock animals. Just as with warning banners, Electric Fence Polytape allows the farm animal to see that an object is near without getting close. There are many reasons to use polytape for managing horses and other livestock. For starters, this Electric Fence Polytape is made from a UV-protected polyethylene material that is lightweight and easy to handle; but it is also easy to repair and splice as opposed to regular wiring. It is suitable for livestock animals including equine care. It will not rust even though it is made using 14 strands of stainless steel conductors. Poly Tape is most visible in areas with high levels of green vegetation or in brown landscapes and is recommended for use with a permanent fence.
