The M40 Fertilizer Spreader is ideal for spreading fertilizers, salt, seed, and other granular materials, but can work wonders when used for spreading ice melt before the snow arrives. A high-torque 12V electric motor, which is mounted inside the hopper and is protected by a thermoplastic case, powers the spreader. An optional rain cover is sold separately to shield the material inside the hopper.
