Built on the strengths of the well-known Chapin 80088, the new Chapin 80079B delivers what consumers expect from a salt spreader for home use. The 80 lb capacity design comes with features found on Chapin pro models. Boasting a rugged powder coated steel frame & poly Hopper, ergonomically designed bail system that allows for use with either hand during operation, adjustable front & side baffle system for edge control, adjustable slide gate, enclosed gears & 12″ pneumatic tires for just about any terrain. Also featured is the new spiked auger that agitates the salt/ice melt to minimize clumping.
