The BLACK+DECKER LCC420 20v Max String Trimmer & Sweeper Lithium Ion Combo Kit features a 20V Max Lithium Ion battery which has a longer lifespan and retains its charge 5X more than similar NiCd batteries. It also includes (1) 4.0-Amp hour lithium battery pack for 2x more run time per battery pack than the LBXR2020 pack. This unit was designed with Runtime Extension Technology with a dual mode accelerator switch that provides up to 1 hour of runtime on the string trimmer. This string trimmer features an exclusive gear drive transmission that delivers more cutting power to get the job done faster and is actually two-tools-in-one as the trimmer easily converts to edger to cut along sidewalks and driveways for a clean, manicured look. It is quiet and easy to start, delivering great cutting results without the mess and hassles of gas powered trimmers The Automatic Feed Spool ensures continuous work without bumping and having to stop to adjust the spool.
