This kit has everything you need to get started. On top of this beehive is a metal telescoping cover that protects the hive from the outdoor elements. Inside the beehive is inner cover , 8 frame deep hive box, solid bottom board, frames and foundations. Each of these parts play a role in creating an environment that bees love and will create a hive in.
Made of Durable Pine This beehive starter kit is made of all natural unfinished pine. Pine is durable and provides good insulation for bees from cooler temperatures. It’s a strong wood that resists warping and shrinking over time. This beehive can be used as is and left to patina naturally or it can be painted or sealed.
