The BP501 uses a more advance carbon bases casing that is highly flame retardant and impact resistant. New Features such as quick disconnect heater elements, Wi-Fi Ready, and Press and Hold topside navigation buttons. The Balboa Spas Pack works at either 120 VAC producing 1.5 KW, or with a change of a jumper operates at 230 VAC producing 5.5 KW of heat. It fits any standard 2″ or 1 1/2″ plumbing making it ideal to upgrade almost any older mechanical spa pack. Don’t be fooled, Balboa Spa Pack Retrofit Kits can replace any hot tub heater on the market. This retrofit kit comes with all the parts needed for a complete swap. The BP501 hot tub heater has receptacles for the following: one 2-speed pump 1; one 1-speed pump 2 ; one ozonator; one constant-on for Audio/Visual devices; one 12 volt light or LED or fiber wheel. The light circuit is convertible to 120 VAC. All receptacles can be switched to supply 120 Volts or 230 Volts.
