The SS-AFPPSIT-N-48 SIT Electronic Ignition Fire Pit Kit by American Fireglass offers an innovative gas fire pit kit to complete your DIY fire pit project. Featuring Smart Ignition Technology (SIT), these top-of-the-line kits allow complete electronic control over your fire pit. Hot Surface Ignition technology allows electronic opening and closing of the gas valve while the integrated thermopile acts as a presence monitoring system for the flames, detecting heat from the pilot and allowing/disallowing the flow of gas. The valve box operates on 120V power and includes a 24V transformer to allow use on most standard 120V AC outlets. Featuring #304 stainless steel, this durable fire pit kit has been designed with longevity in mind, meaning you’ll have many years of happy nights around the fire. This kit has been designed for natural gas applications and features an 48×14-inch rectangular pan with a 44×12-inch burner rated for 290,000 BTU.
