The AO Smith Q3302V1 Pool Pump Motor is a Square Flange style motor with a 56Y Frame and is a 3-Phase 208-230/460 Volt 3 Horsepower Motor. Square Flange motors have a square “face” where the motor mounts to the pump with 4 non-threaded bolt holes to attach the pump and a threaded shaft. Square Flange motors are most commonly used on Pentair Challenger, WhisperFlo, SuperFlo and Pinnacle pumps, Hayward TriStar and Max-Flo II pumps, most Jandy pumps and Sta-Rite Max-E-Pro, Max-E-Glas/Max-E-Glas II, Dura-Glas/Dura-Glas II, Dyna-Pro, Dyna-Glas and Dyna Max pumps. 3-Phase Motors are commonly used on commercial swimming pool and water feature pumps.
