The Ventamatic VX1000SOLDOMBLK is a black solar powered roof mount power attic ventilator with the solar panel mounted to the top of the dome. The 18 Volt, thermally protected DC motor and 14-inch high efficiency aluminum fan blades provide up to 1000 cfm (sufficient for a 1500 sq ft attic). this unit has a heavy-duty galvanized steel dome with a black powder-coat finish, and an expanded steel mesh Grille to protect from birds and rodents. One 12.6 watt solar panel and roof-mounting brackets are included. The high-impact, tempered solar cell casings resist hail, flying debris and impacting winds, and the silicone crystals are encased in an anodized aluminum frame. The 25-ft power cord has easy connect clips, and additional solar panels may be linked to increase the cfm of your fan. The ventilator is covered by a 5-year limited warranty, and the solar panel is covered by a 10-year limited warranty. This is an exhaust fan which requires a minimum of 400 sq. In.
