Our 3V 3/8 Geodesic Dome Kits are designed for use with 1″ or 1.5″ Schedule 40 PVC tubing. Our Basic Hub Kit is great because it allows for the most flexibility. The kit only includes the hubs, nuts and bolts, and a mallet and you are free to cut your PVC struts as little or as big as you would like your dome to be. This 3V 3/8 PVC Geodesic Dome Shelter is just less than half of a sphere. If a sphere is 8/8, and a hemisphere is 4/8, then you can see that the 3/8 configuration is just less than half.
