The Overland Carts C27-9A battery-powered dump cart lets you move mulch, dirt, stone, mud and more without ever having to lift or push a heavy load again-just twist the throttle and go. Safer and easier to use than a wheelbarrow and capable of handling up to 750 pounds on level surfaces or 500 pounds on up to 3:1 slopes, the cart sports an 9-cubic-foot, heavy-gauge, hinged, polyethylene tray on a 44-inch powder-coated steel chassis with four wheels for stability and control. The rear wheels swivel and feature flat-free tires while the front wheels provide grip with 13-inch inflatable, heavy-duty dual ag tires. The cart comes with a Power-X-Change 24-volt rechargeable battery pack that charges in six-to-eight hours–just plug in the cart or use the standalone charger that comes with the cart. A single charge provides up to seven hours of continuous use or up to 11 hours of start-and-stop use (additional batteries and a standalone charger also are available). A twist throttle offers speeds up to 2.4 miles per hour, while indicator lights keep you informed of battery life. Because the dump cart is battery-powered with an electric motor, it requires no oil changes, lubrication, or hassles of gas-powered equipment. The motor emits no fumes and virtually no noise–allowing for indoor or outdoor use. But have no fears about rain and mud. The C27-9A is splash-proof sealed. Its sealed differential drive system means no skidding of the tires. The motor is designed to prevent unintentional movement of the cart when not in use. Plus, when the brake is engaged, the cart can hold its position on an incline. The hopper’s lock helps to prevent load spills.
