Description
The Ironton® 20-Ton Hydraulic Shop Press is big on performance and strength needed for straightening, stamping, bending and pressing any component that is hard to handle. Features an adjustable lower bolster to meet professional needs. The hydraulic cylinder assembly has polished inner cylinder walls to extend the life of the hydraulic seals to minimize abrasion and wear, while the cylinder ram are also polished and treated guided by high-performance seals, wear rings and dust seals. The 40,000-lb. pressing capacity provides exceptional versatility for use with all sorts of projects and fixes with automotive, truck, implement, fleet, and industrial repair shops where pressing, bending and forming tasks are required. Typical applications include installation and removal of alternator and power steering pump bearings, axle bearings, transmission bearings, seals, U-joints and many other jobs. Engineered using the same systems as used in Aerospace Technologies and in the Automotive OEM sector and built in ISO certified facilities. Meets and complies with ASME PASE safety standards. Great for use at home and in the shop Adjustable lower platform Extra-long handle included for easy pumping force Strong steel construction has reinforced critical stress points for durability Wide, rugged base adds stability and strength Lead-free paint is applied after a thorough chemical wash to ensure a long-lasting finish and to help prevent rust Paint is oil, grease and dirt-resistant for easy cleanup High quality large diameter hydraulic steel cylinder unit results in lower oil pressure needed to raise the load, helping to reduce wear and extend service life Piston-ram is treated, hardened, and polished to resist skiving Piston-ram utilizes a Y-Style polyurethane sealing ring with back-up ring, preventing load from falling slowly or bypassing oil drift Hydraulic pump is constructed of forged steel Hydraulics are powered with a high-quality oil, which offers better corrosion resistance and high/low temperature flexibility, allowing the unit to operate at temperatures between 40 degrees F and 105 degrees F Built-in safety overload system prevents use beyond rated load capacity Built in ISO certified facilities and engineered using the same systems as Aerospace Technologies and the Automotive OEM sector 100% factory vertical load tested for reliability and safety. Meets and complies with ASME PASE safety standards Model Number: NTY20011. Age Group: adult.
