The aluminum construction is 1-inch thick and offers unmatched durability, longevity and temperature control while the tongue and groove design creates an excellent seal that prevents heat loss. The cast exhaust cap makes adjustable heat control possible without slipping out of position which is a common issue among competitors. The premium 304 stainless steel hinge features a lid-assist mechanism for easy opening of the hood. The 12mm 304 stainless steel hexagonal grill grate is hinged on both sides for easy addition and removal of charcoal while another 18-inch cooking grate can be set low for cooking close to your fire. This unit includes a round stainless steel shelf that surrounds the front and sides of your grill so you can have extra workspace without crowding out your grill space. The kamado also features a built-in temperature gauge to monitor heat while the included cart offers great mobility.
