Our 12.5 gauge High Tensile Galvanized wire has a breaking strength of 1500 lbs. The 1500 lb. breaking strength is approximately the same as the low tensile strength 9 gauge wire that I used to buy. The 12.5 gauge is lighter and easier to work with. It is very resistant to elongation. This high tensile wire is made here in the U.S.A. and is suitable for a wide variety of applications. There is a big difference in quality between our American made wire and our competitors imported product. One of the main differences is the quality of the galvanizing.
